NVidia GEForce GT740 which uses NVidia GEforce Experience (I mention because I believe this can access/influence the audio as well it has an NVidia High Def Audio listed under sound/video controller section in device manager) This info is confirmed in the Device Manager under Microphone. The device info via hardware/devices says that I have device driver 6.0 and that the device is working properly, and the "upgrade" button is greyed out when I click on "change settings", I can click "upgrade" in that window, but it searches and tells me I have the newest driver. No matter what, if I was in a "testing" mode (ie the computer told me to read "Peter speaks to his computer." so it could detect my voice), whether via windows or mumble, it would never detect my voice but I could always, without fail, hear myself through the headset as described above. When it was staying on, I ran the microphone configuration process after each of the steps listed above, checked that it was the default device, checked the volume, etc. I would be looking at the device manager and it would disappear when it turned off/lost the wireless connection, only to reappear for a few seconds as it reconnected, and then turn off and disappear again. In addition to the system recognizing but not hearing anything from the mic, the headphones started turning on and off constantly, 1-2 times a minute. Running the windows sound troubleshooter (whose only advice, both times, was to turn off enhancements, after which instruction Windows helpfully told me the problem was fixed :P.) Re-running the Audio Wizard in Mumble (or just directly editing the settings) Changing the default playback and recording options in Windows I restarted the computer half a dozen times while trying: I went into Windows setting to configure the mic, and the system could not hear anything coming from the mic, despite that the microphone was transmitting sound into the headphones (I could hear the slight echo effect of my voice, particularly when I bent the mic closer to my mouth). Headset was on, mic was not on mute (at the headset end), mic volume was not on mute in the computer (and when I clicked mute on and off via sound settings, the headset mute notification light turned on and off properly). After resetting, and upgrading, and RE-re-doing my settings in Mumble, it still wasn't detecting my mic. Logged in to use Mumble and I could hear but nobody could hear me. Mic was working fine as of the time I started downloading windows 10 24 hours ago. I wasn't having the trouble of the whole thing shutting off (completely). This was even when they were fully charged. Mic is unusable and headphones aren't much better.īackground: Have been using the G930 with Win7圆4 with no MAJOR problems, but a few times an hour, it would lose the wireless connection and power off for 1 to 5 seconds/power back on. PC Specs and peripherals (all listed in case something is causing the problem): I saw someone had turned 2.4ghz off, and this solved their problem. My wireless router is putting a 5ghz and 2.4ghz signal out. I'm going to contact Logitech directly, but if anyone can give any reason as to why this may be happening that would be wonderful. I know someone mentioned that it may be only with Intel cpus, which may be the case. I don't know if it's anything with my computer or if it's the drivers. These solutions work for a while, but then it stars the disconnecting behavior. I've tried multiple versions of LGS, even a version from 2011. I haven't tried it on any other computers, but I don't have another to test it on. Or it might do it once then not do it again for a couple of hours or the next day. When it does it'll do it multiple times within a couple of minutes. It can go for hours with no problems, then start disconnecting every few minutes. This did not solve my problem, and the headset disconnects at random intervals, not every 15 minutes. I have seen some people where they say it happens every 15 minutes roughly, and solved this by editing the manifest to not disconnect after 15 minutes. I am having the issue where the G930 disconnects randomly.
